We didn't have Trader Joe's until about 4 yrs ago BUT boy am I glad I have one so close! I can't go as often now that I ride the bus but still try to make a run once a month! Just a great place. Used to be on my way home from work and I loved that!

I don't have a Trader Joe's near me - I'm envious! Those roses are beautiful! I'm looking forward to the Phila. Flower Show in March! I smells wonderful as you walk in the door of the show! We got about 5 inches of snow - it was very slippery going home from work yesterday morning. Can't wait for spring!!

I keep a running Trader Joe's list. The prices are wonderful. Have you tried the frozen green beans from France for 1.99. Love them. And I need wild rice too. We drive 90 miles to ours. I am awfully upset about Picnik but looked at Befunky and it might work.

My husband and I have done the exact same thing....found out a new Trader Joe's that is closer (35 min)! We love going there! Now though they have built one closer to us Yay!
Hopefully that will happen for you too and you can save gas money. But you would miss all that beautiful scenery!
Flowers are totally essential in winter! And yours are beautiful!

I also love fresh flowers! We have an Aldi supermarket here and I was able to pick up some lovely roses for a few dollars, and they lasted over a week! It is still snowing here, but since I don't have to go out I can watch the flakes come down while sipping tea. Will be doing some typing ($$) but enjoying the rest of the day. T.J.s is a favorite of mine. I popping by and thank goodness we have one that is closer.
Now on to the important stuff. I swear Google needs to stop messing with us. First, it was the whole move to Google Chrome thing to make the blogs work. Now this Picnik closing or buy-out. What Google + offers is junk. No framing, matting and more important where will we do our banners now. Did I tell you they kicked me off AdSense too for now reason at all. I swear they are secretly taking this all over. Mark my words they will be messing with Pinterest next.

Please, please, keep me posted as I will on what you find. I too am not happy at all with the options out there. And I don't necessarily want all my blog pictures on FB or Flickr.

Have fun in the snow. It really wasn't that bad, except it hit here right at Friday Rush Hour and most we leaving work early to get home.

Claudia, could you share some of your favorite Trader Joe finds? I am SO fortunate - several months ago we had one move in about 2 miles from us! Unfortunately, it is always packed with people - so once I get in the store, I get so frustrated and overwhelmed on what I should buy. Any 'must-buys' would be helpful!

Keep on crocheting! I am looking forward to seeing what you will be offering in your etsy shop! I too am wanting to open an etsy shop for my vintage finds so I'll be looking to you as my role model! I've been dabbling in ebay for years. Having an online business is wonderful in two ways...it helps you make a little extra cash and it helps keep one's mind occupied as we traverse through life's many challenges.

I'm spoiled too, one opened 5 mins. down the road last year - and I make a run there almost every week to do a big shop, and stop in now and then for fresh salads etc. I LOVE TJ's - probably do 75% of my grocery shopping there.

Great pics of your scenic drive, and yes, TJ's flowers are wonderful and last a long time despite their inexpensive prices. Love roses, and the alstromeria on your new desk, just LOVELY in that vase!
